About This Project
A grassroots civic engagement initiative to make local election information more accessible
Why This Exists
Learning about local elections in a town like Weston can be challenging.
This project is an attempt to help remedy that. With the help of AI we take publicly available digital information about candidates and make it more visible and organized, so residents can more easily learn about the people running for office in our community.
What We Do
With the help of AI, we gather publicly available information about candidates from official online sources, news articles, professional profiles, and public records. This information is then organized and presented in an easy-to-navigate format, with side-by-side comparisons and detailed profiles.
- ✓ Official Weston, CT government records
- ✓ Connecticut Secretary of State ballot information
- ✓ Local news coverage (Weston Today, etc.)
- ✓ Professional profiles (LinkedIn, company websites)
- ✓ Public records and official announcements
- ✓ Party caucus information
About AI-Assisted Content
This site uses artificial intelligence to help process, organize, and summarize large amounts of publicly available information. However, all information is sourced from real documents and public records.
Important: While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, AI-assisted content can contain errors. We strongly encourage you to:
- Verify important details with official sources
- Check the official ballot
- Attend candidate forums and town meetings
- Contact candidates directly with questions
Who We Are
